About These Terms

These terms apply when you request a quote or book DStv installation, repair or maintenance work through dstvinstallerkemptonpark.co.za for a property in or around Kempton Park. Your enquiry is handled by our technicians, who carry out the work, and these terms describe how quotes and visits work.

Quotes and Prices

Prices shown on this website are guide prices only and are not a binding offer. The final price depends on the property, the distance to it, the equipment needed and site conditions. You will receive a quote before any work begins, and work only goes ahead once you have agreed to it.

Call-Outs

A call-out fee applies to service and fault-finding visits. It covers travel and the diagnostic assessment. If you go ahead with the recommended work, the quote will say whether the call-out fee is included in the total.

Access to the Property

Please tell us in advance about gate codes, complex or estate access procedures, restricted working hours, and any dogs on the property. Where the installation is at a rented property or in a complex, any permission needed from the owner, body corporate or managing agent is the customer's to obtain. If our technician cannot get access at the agreed time, a call-out fee may still apply.

Workmanship Guarantee

Any workmanship guarantee is confirmed in writing with your quote. Where one is given, it does not cover:

damage from lightning, hail, wind, flooding or other weather events;
damage caused by animals, other people or other contractors;
faults in equipment that are not caused by the installation work;
normal wear and tear.

Equipment and Subscriptions

DStv subscriptions, Extra View and commercial accounts are arranged directly with MultiChoice. Decoders can be bought from MultiChoice or authorised retailers. Dishes, LNBs, cable and brackets can be supplied as part of the job and are quoted separately from labour.

Cancellations

Appointments can be moved or cancelled free of charge with at least 4 hours' notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a call-out fee.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, liability for any claim arising from the work is limited to the amount paid for that specific work, and excludes indirect or consequential loss.
